​​​Helal obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2002. He is a top rated Business Litigation Attorney in Dearborn and has continuously been included in Super Lawyer's list of Rising Stars. His practice areas include contracts, commercial litigation, family law, corporate formation, and criminal defense. As a committed and dedicated advocate for his clients, Helal has served numerous large, medium and small companies as well as private individuals with legal issues pertaining to corporate and business law. 

In addition to being a zealous trial attorney, Helal is an appointed Magistrate Judge at the 19th District Court in Dearborn, President of the Dearborn Bar Association, and an active board member of the Arab-American Civil Rights League (ACRL). He is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

​After completing her Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Susan went on to graduate first in her class from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law in May 2004, where she earned her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude. During this period, she participated in the law school's Student Bar Association, serving as Vice President and Class Representative during her three years. Further, Susan was the Symposium Editor of the University's Law Review, recipient of several prestigious law school awards, inductee into the Frank Murphy Honor Society, and yearly recipient of the Dean's Scholarship based upon academic excellence.

At Farhat law, Susan specializes in family law, contracts, immigration law, real estate, and bankruptcy law. Additionally, Susan is the Treasurer of the Dearborn Bar Association, Co-Chair of the Dearborn Education Foundation, and active member of the Commission on Middle Eastern Affairs. In 2013, she was elected President of Dearborn City Council. Her historic victory as a first-time candidate with the highest votes in a local election speaks volumes to her work ethic and commitment the community she serves. Susan is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. 


Nick graduated from the University of Michigan in 1974 with a degree in Psychology. In 1978, he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He then began his legal career as a Senior Citizens Attorney with the St. Clair County Legal Aid and Defender Office in Port Huron, Michigan. In 1980, Bryan began his own private law practice and for several years practiced as a general practitioner. It was soon thereafter, however, that he found he was best suited to be a trial and appellate attorney. 

In 1990, Nick began to specialize in one area: Criminal Law. Since that time, he has primarily been a criminal defense attorney. For three years, from 1997 to 2000, while he maintained his private practice, Nick was also the Prosecuting Attorney for the cities of Dearborn Heights and Woodhaven. He is licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bryan was born and raised in Detroit. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University, graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts. He then attended Detroit College of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1979. Bryan began practicing law in 1979 and has continued to practice for nearly 40 years. He has been admitted to both state and federal courts and has a substantial amount of experience in litigation, having worked in private practice as well as in a corporate and governmental capacity. 

Prior to relocating his firm to Mt. Clemens, Bryan spent eight years in Dearborn, where he was an Associate in an active practice specializing in commercial transactions in addition to the general practice of law. He has also been a municipal prosecutor/attorney in the past and has served as an assistant corporation counsel for Wayne County and well as a trial attorney for Grand Truck Railroad. Bryan is active in his community and enjoys providing affordable legal services with both dignity and professionalism.
